How Kinlet is organized

Learn the bottom tabs and Journal sub-tabs so you always know where prompts, photos, books, and settings live.

Kinlet is a four-tab app. Almost every task starts by tapping the right bottom tab, then (inside Journal) the right top tab. Memorize that map and the rest of Help will click faster.

Tap through Journal, Photos, Studio, and Settings.

The bottom bar

Across the bottom you will always see Journal, Photos, Studio, and Settings (person icon). That is the main map of the product.

  • Journal: daily prompts, Highlights modules, and your saved Entries.
  • Photos: albums and camera-roll uploads you keep or share.
  • Studio: book projects you are designing or ordering.
  • Settings: account, subjects, notifications, feedback, and plan.

Journal

Tap Journal in the bottom bar. At the top you get three tabs: Home, Highlights, and Entries.

  • Home: today's prompt, Not now / Skip, and shortcuts to write or add an event.
  • Highlights: guided modules like Pregnancy, First Year, Holidays, and Trips.
  • Entries: the timeline of answers you already saved.
