Other prompt types
Beyond the daily question: Photo Rewind, Reflect Back, Prompt Ideas, and Write Freely from Journal → Entries.
Not every memory starts with today's prompt. From Journal → Entries, tap Write to open four other starting points—each saves to the same timeline.
Open the write menu
- Tap Journal in the bottom bar.
- Tap Entries at the top.
- Tap Write (top right).
- Pick Photo Rewind, Reflect Back, Find a prompt, or Write freely.

Photo Rewind
Start from photos you already uploaded. Kinlet suggests a prompt based on the images you pick, then you answer and save like any other entry.

After photos upload, Kinlet generates prompt choices. Pick one, tap Answer, and write in the composer—same publish flow as any entry.
Reflect Back
Revisit an older entry or memory. Kinlet surfaces something you wrote before and invites a fresh reflection—great for anniversaries or growth moments.

Prompt Ideas
Describe a topic, tap Generate for AI prompt ideas, pick one, then answer in the composer.

Write Freely
Blank page—no prompt required. Use this for letters, lists, or anything that does not fit a guided question.
