A baby journal for one parent

A baby journal that works when there is one parent at the desk. One keeper can run the whole journal. You do not need a second adult to start. If you later want another voice — a grandparent, a partner, someone you choose — Kinlet Pro has one Contributor seat.

How it works

  1. Start as the keeper

Free lets you begin a family journal, answer prompts, and add photos. No collaborator required.

  2. Keep the workload small

One question at a time. SMS in the US and Canada if opening the app is why people quit. Skip a week without breaking a streak.

  3. Invite only if you want

Pro adds 1 Contributor and unlimited Viewers. Inviting collaborators requires Pro. If you stay solo, that is a complete journal.

Why families use Kinlet

  • Built around one memory

Traditional baby books demand a perfect timeline. Kinlet does not. A single prompt or photo is enough to start.

  • Private by default

Nobody sees the journal unless you invite them. Shared albums are a separate, narrower share of photos.

  • A book without a scrapbooking night

Studio can assemble a hardcover from what you already wrote. You still edit every page. Printing stays optional.

Questions

Do I need another adult on the account?

No. One keeper can journal, add photos, and make a book. A Contributor is optional on Pro.

Can a grandparent help write?

On Pro you can invite 1 Contributor who answers in their own voice, and Viewers who can read. That is your choice, not a requirement.

What if I only want photos shared, not the journal?

Shared albums let invited people view, like, and comment on photos you choose. That is not the same as journal collaboration.

Start the journal you can keep with one pair of hands.

Free to begin. Add a Contributor later only if you want a second voice.
