A baby book that does not assume

A baby book that does not assume who the parents are. Kinlet does not require a traditional family structure. You choose the subjects and topics in one family journal. Prompts can follow whose pregnancy it is. On Pro, one Contributor can answer in their own voice.

How it works

  1. Set up the family you have

Add the child — or children — as subjects. Choose topics that match this chapter. Skip the ones that do not.

  2. Write in more than one voice

The journal keeper starts free. Kinlet Pro lets you invite 1 Contributor, who answers prompts in their own voice, and unlimited Viewers with read-only access you control.

  3. Print a book that sounds like you

Studio lays out entries and photos. Edit the words. Nothing AI produces is final. Journals stay private by default.

Why families use Kinlet

  • No assumed cast list

You do not owe the product a mother-and-father outline. Family Tree is optional: who belongs in the book besides the child, as you define it.

  • Pregnancy without assuming the writer

Set whose pregnancy it is. A partner still gets a place to write. Prompts are not all first-person body questions.

  • Private until you share

The Family Journal is private by default. Shared albums are separate: people you invite can see the photos you choose, not the whole journal.

Questions

Do I need to provide a traditional family structure?

No. Kinlet does not require a perfect timeline, a traditional family structure, or private details you do not want to record.

Can both parents write?

On Kinlet Pro you can invite 1 Contributor who answers prompts in their own voice, plus unlimited Viewers. Inviting collaborators requires Pro.

Is the journal public?

No. Journals and albums are private by default. You choose who is invited.

Start a journal that already has room for your family.

Free to begin. Invite a Contributor later on Pro if you want two voices in the same book.
